Keep Up! brings you MFT, a new night of exotic music

Keep Up! is excited to present the launch of a brand new music night at Brixton’s friendliest pub-come-club The White Horse.

On Wednesday 8 October and every fortnight from 8pm-12am, DJs Lee Scratch Lopez and Tom Central will be bringing you Music for Film and Television, or MFT as you might like to call it. Soundtracks, Library Music, Incidental music and Themes are all big favourites at Keep Up! towers and represent an area of recorded history unheard by many – especially in the excellent surroundings of the White Horse. In fact, we’re pretty sure you’re unlikely to visit a night like this ANYWHERE in Brixton. It’s our aim to bring you something completely different to the midweek atmosphere at the Horse.

As well as these exotic platters, we will be showing some of the world’s greatest films that you may or may not have seen including arthouse noirs, blaxploitation and foreign films on The White Horse’s big screen. For the launch party, MFT will be screening Dr Strangelove and The Third Man.

Don’t forget Wednesday is a busy night for the foodie crowd at the venue so get down early if you want to eat or sit at a table. Entrance as always is free.
